What do you get when you cross a Poker Run with a Pig Roast and music provided by the fantastic Renegades? A day packed with unbelievable fun, food and music – and best of all - with proceeds going to the Disabled American Veterans!
It all happens on May 19, 2018 and, just to make things a whole lot more convenient starting the Poker Run, the American Dawgs have once again done what they do best. They took the standard Poker Run and retooled it – for the bette! This year you will have six convenient locations to sign in and leave from – it’s your choice! Not in any particular order they are:
VFW Duel Post 7570, 9160 Lawrenceburg Rd., Harrison, OH 45030
Trio’s at 5744 Springdale Rd. Cincinnati 45247
Jacki’s N. Miami Ave. Cleves, OH 45002
Klump’s 9809N. Dearborn Ave. Guilford, IN 47022
Kiatta 5938 Cincinnati Brookville Rd. Okeana, OH 45053
Johnny’s Road House 501 George St. Aurora, IN 47001
Registration is from Noon till One and then it’s off to each bar listed – in whatever order you choose! The rules are basic. Travel to each of the five bars, have your card (that we provide) stamped and then head to the VFW on Lawrenceburg Rd. For your completed card you will be dealt a poker hand of five cards and the chance to win three cash prizes! Top prize is $300! Two additional playing cards can be purchased for ten dollars each - if you think that will help your hand. They say you have to spend money to make money!
$20 per bike will get you in the game/$5 for your rider. If the rider wants to play a hand, it’s an additional $20. Certain rules and regulations apply and we’ll go over them when you sign up. But what about food and music you may ask. That would be a good question and we have a terrific answer. The delicious Pig Roast (VFW Lawrenceburg) will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and the Renegades will play there from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM. The Renegades are a kick-ass band and if you haven’t heard them, you are in for a treat! Oh yeah, the Pig Roast and the Renegades are yours to enjoy rain or shine!
And of course we will offer 50/50’s, gun raffles and other creative ways to make your experience complete. This will be a day - and night - to remember so mark your calendar, tell your friends and we’ll see you at the American Dawgs First Annual Poker Run and Pig Roast Featuring the Renegades!

It’s back by popular demand! Our 2018 Spring Fling Dance is sure to be a good time for those who are light on their feet or just want to meet up with old (and new) friends! The date is Saturday April 7, 2018. The place is the Addyston VFW Hall at 140 Main St. in Addyston 45001. The time is 8:00 – Midnight.
The best part of the night is the price of admission. $20.00 per person in advance and $25.00 at the door! You can’t go out and do anything anymore for $40.00 a couple! And that includes draft beer, appetizers, and mixers. (Can beer and cocktails are available at the Cash Bar.) And of course you will find our exciting 50/50, gun raffles, a Chinese Auction and more! Plus, our world renown DJ will be playing all the hits you love to dance to!
Don’t forget that all this is for a most worth cause – The One Way Farm Children’s Home. The American Dawgs just can’t do enough for this worthwhile charity - right here in Fairfield, OH.
For advance tickets or to guarantee a table of 8, call Jim at (513) 807-1867. We (the Dawgs and the kids) sincerely hope to see you there!
The 2018 riding season arrives April 1st and you’re invited to join in! This year our "every Sunday" rides promise to be the best yet! We ride every Sunday, weather permitting - well into the fall months. We arrive at McCoy's (address below) somewhere between 11:00 - 11:45 AM and leave promptly at Noon. High Noon - hence the name. Every week we try to ride a different back road or head out to an interesting destination.
Lunch is always the plan and safety is always on our mind. We normally ride till five – sometimes six!
The American Dawgs find a lot of prospective members on these rides, although that certainly isn't our goal. We serve the community and want to provide a safe ride for enthusiasts who come from all walks of life - good people who share an interest in motorcycles with other good people. The make and model of your bike makes absolutely no difference to us.
So if this sounds promising and we promise it is, come out and ride with us on Sundays at Noon!
